Mr. Michel Pageau enjoys an international reputation. He has devoted his whole life to caring for and offering a shelter to injured animals and then releasing them back to nature when they have regained their health. You will meet up with specimens of Abitibi wildlife such as the moose, wolf, black bear and more.
The guide will entertain you on the day-to-day story of the pensioners on site and, for an 1h30, you will become acquainted with the habits of the marsh and its inhabitants. The Refuge Pageau is also a prized location for bird watchers who will take advantage of a unique occasion to observe the Le Conte's Sparrow and other rare birds.
